Here with you on your treatment journey however that may look. Judgment and bias free. My approach is based on positive psychology ideals, mindfulness, being forward-looking, and solution-focused. I am a licensed clinical addictions counselor and a licensed clinical social worker with more than 10 years of experience working in the dual diagnosis field. I have worked for community mental health centers, done crisis work, employee assisted treatment, and program development for a substance use and medication-assisted treatment facility. I pride myself on staying up-to-date on research and expanding my knowledge. I have also been involved in research grants and opportunities that expand access to addiction treatment and provide expert advice for those in more rural areas through Indiana University and SAMSHA. I specialize in addiction treatment, trauma-based therapy, helping those 18-25 with life transition choices and an LGBTQI+ advocate and supporter. I understand that one size does not fit all and pull from various modalities to help those I work with meet their goals. The most important thing I have learned over the years is to learn from those I work with. I take a very person-centered approach. As Stephen Covey wrote, “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.”

“Once you choose hope, anything’s possible.”
